After the responsibility of public beaches passed to Bodrum Belediyesi Gıda A.Ş., the beach arrangements are carried out in coordination with the Support Services Directorate within the scope of the studies initiated in Yaliciflik, Gerenkuyu, Gumusluk Bölüme and Yalıkavak Gerişaltı.
The municipality brings facilities with showers, toilets and changing cabins in accordance with the social distance rules on public beaches to Bodrum. MUNICIPAL MOBILE CAFES ARE COMING
Bodrum Municipality will place mobile municipality cafes in areas where the people swim in some bays in the district, but where there are no facilities. A total of 5 mobile facilities are being prepared, 2 in Yalıkavak Kdür, to be placed in Akyarlar Fener, Yalıkavak Monakus and Gölköy.
In addition, 2 disabled platforms will be built at Kumbahçe Beach for the visually impaired, and 8 platforms will be built in Ortakent, Turgutreis, Gündoğan and Gümbet Türkbükü.
Nearly 1500 umbrellas were placed on Bodrum beaches throughout the district. In addition, works such as the maintenance of the changing cabins, the renewal of the lifeguard towers, the pulling of buoys, the leveling and cleaning of the beach are also carried out. While 600 cubic meters of sandblasting has been carried out so far, 17 lifeguard towers have been renovated.
