Audit was carried out for amateur fishermen in Sarıyer

A joint inspection was made for amateur anglers in Sarıyer. While the fishermen were warned about the distance and the mask during the inspection, the fish that were caught under the height limit were released back to the sea.

A joint inspection was made for amateur anglers between Sarıyer Tarabya and Kireçburnu coastline. Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Fisheries and Aquaculture Branch Directorate, Sarıyer District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Sea Police affiliated to the Provincial Police Directorate Sea Port Branch, Sarıyer District Police Department and IMM Police Department Marine Police Department teams participated.

In this audit, in accordance with the Circular of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Decree of the Istanbul Governorship Provincial General Hygiene Council, within the scope of pandemic measures in angling, 3 meters distance, the use of masks and smoking, and attention to cleanliness were carried out. Announcements and warnings were made by boat.

In accordance with the provisions of the Fisheries Law No. 1380 and the Communiqué regulating fishing for amateur fisheries 5/2, as a result of the controls in terms of length, weight, species and time prohibition of the fish caught in angling activities, the fishes that were caught under the length limit were returned to the sea. The amateur anglers were informed about conscious amateur fishing by giving hand brochures prepared by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.
