The Singapore-flagged container ship MV X-Press Pearl, carrying 25 tons of nitric acid, different chemicals and cosmetic products in Sri Lanka, is on fire off the capital Colombo, where it anchored on Friday to start a fire in one of its containers.
Rebi stated that his administration acted with full responsibility in the rescue efforts and their professional approach prevented a disaster from happening.
