Greece, which previously made a 250 million euro missile deal with Israel against Turkey, is now buying 44 submarine torpedoes from Germany for 110 million euros.
Turkey’s successful initiatives in the domestic and national defense industry continue to unsettle Greece.
Greece, which started to look for solutions every time a new weapon system was added to the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF), sat at the table with Israel after the launch of the Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicle AKINCI (TİHA) with a ceremony.
250 MILLION EURO AGREEMENT
Although the Greek administration was in economic trouble, it signed an agreement with Israel for the Spike NLOS missiles worth 250 million euros. The Greek government has recently started to invest in the unmanned sea vehicles that Turkey is attempting to dominate the seas.
BUY 44 TORPIDO FROM GERMANY
Greece agreed with Germany on this issue and ordered 44 submarine torpedoes. Risking to pay 110 million euros to Germany for these torpedoes, the Greek sacrificed a total of 360 million euros in this race for supremacy against Turkey.
