A protocol was signed by Negmar Denizcilik for the secondary school building to be built in Yalova.
Negmar, which provides ferry service between Yalova and Kocaeli, signed a protocol for the construction of a secondary school with 16 classrooms in Tavşanlı town of Altınova district. At the ceremony that took place on a ferry, the Governor of Yalova Muammer Erol, the Provincial Director of National Education Abdülaziz Yeniyol, the Mayor of Tavşanlı Mücahit Kaçar and the Chairman of the Board of Negmar Mehmet Koç signed the protocol.
Governor Erol emphasized the importance of philanthropists’ contribution to education. Erol said that with the secondary school that Negmar will build, a need in the town has been met.
AK Party Yalova Deputy Ahmet Büyükgümüş congratulated the company management for contributing to the city’s future and education.
Provincial Director of National Education Abdülaziz Yeniyol also stated that the number of students per classroom is far below the Turkey average. Yeniyol thanked the Negmar family for the school to be built.
The Mayor of Tavşanlı Mücahit Kaçar thanked Negmar and those who contributed to this issue and that they needed a secondary school in the town.
Negmar Chairman of the Board Mehmet Koç stated that they want to support the mosque to be built in the center of Yalova and said, “We are happy to build a secondary school at the service of Turkey. I hope we will be lucky enough to open this school with the same staff and to see the students receive education there.”
