Russian Naval Forces Commander Nikolay Yevmenov stated that nearly 100 Russian warships are serving in distant seas and oceans.
According to the statement of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Yevmenov sent a congratulatory message to the commanders of the Northern Fleet, the Pacific Fleet, the Black Sea Fleet, the Baltic Fleet and the Caspian Fleet and the captains of the Russian ships on the occasion of the Ship Captain’s Day celebrated in the country.
Noting that the responsibilities of ship captains are wide and varied, Yevmenov said, “Today, nearly 100 war and support ships belonging to Russia are serving in distant seas and oceans.”
“Personal professionalism, unwavering determination, composure, endurance, respect for and attention to subordinates are indispensable conditions for strengthening the authority of the commander. The important thing for the commander is to love his job and to devote himself completely to his ship.
