Two beaches in Ordu received the Blue Flag award


Cumhuriyet and Kumbaşı Public Beaches in Altınordu district of Ordu were deemed worthy of the “Blue Flag” award given by the International Environmental Education Foundation to beaches and marinas that meet certain criteria.

Ordu beaches, which have a great tourism potential, have been meticulously prepared for the season by the Metropolitan Municipality teams.

Cleaned regularly by teams; The Metropolitan Municipality, which has been equipped with new locker cabins and WCs, has created disabled ramps to enable disabled people to enter the sea easily, and also provides life-saving services for the safety of citizens, crowned its success with the “Blue Flag” award given by the International Environmental Education Foundation. .

Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Parks and Green Areas Department Head İzzet Gündoğar stated that they pay special attention to the cleanliness and equipment of the beaches and said, “We aim to increase such beaches.”
