The 1960 model tank, which was brought to Kaş district by the Antalya Governorate after completing its economic life in the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK), was sunk in 2017 near Güvercin Island.
The huge 45-ton tank, which has been here for more than 4 years, contributes to the diving tourism of Kaş, which hosts different underwater beauties.
The US-made tank, located at a depth of 15 meters, is among the wrecks that divers and underwater enthusiasts want to see the most.
Emin Buluç, a licensed diver, photographed the tank for the last time.
Buluç said, “I also saw it for the first time. I’m happy. It is a home for underwater creatures and adds vitality to tourism,” he said.
