Yacht that broke down in the Bosphorus was rescued


It has been reported that the motor yacht, which was dragged due to a machine failure in the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge area of ​​the Bosphorus and had 7 people in it, was rescued and docked at the Grand Harbor.

A yacht drifted in the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge area of ​​the Bosphorus due to a machine failure. Coastal Safety teams were dispatched to the region upon the notice.

The motor yacht with 7 people on board was backed up by the KEGM-8 fast rescue boat and docked at the Grand Harbor.

The following statements were included in the statement made on the social media account of the General Directorate of Coastal Safety:

“The 20 meter long motor yacht with 7 people in it, which was dragged due to a machine failure in the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge location, was backed up by our KEGM-8 rapid rescue (life-saving) boat and docked safely at the Grand Harbor.”
